Welcome to webinice. This guide explains the main features and common tasks—so you can build, edit, and publish quickly.
Getting Started & Sign‑in
- Create an account from the sign‑in page (“Create account”) or sign in with your existing credentials.
- Forgot your password? Use “Reset password” to receive a reset email.
- White‑label users: If your access is provided by a partner, some payment features may be hidden by your organization.
Dashboard
- Overview of all your sites (projects). Use “New Site” to create one.
- Selecting a site opens the workspace with tabs: Build, Code, Assets, Settings; plus actions like Publish and Payment.
Build (AI‑assisted visual editing)
- Chat (left): Describe your intent (e.g., “Create a homepage with a hero and contact form”). Iterate with clear, small requests.
- Preview (right): Switch pages from the selector; change viewports (Desktop / Tablet / Phone). “Preview” opens the current page in a new tab.
- Inline edits: Click an element in the preview to reveal contextual options. Confirm to apply the change to your site.
- Tips: Prefer short, specific prompts; review changes in the preview before moving on.
Code
- Edit source files directly: templates (
.pug
), styles (.scss
), scripts (.ts
). - Open a specific file via the file selector in the Code tab, or by query
?file=<name>
(e.g.,/code?file=index.pug
). - Save often and verify in the Preview. Use Code for fine‑tuning beyond what the AI changed.
Assets
- Upload images and media via drag‑and‑drop or the “Upload” button.
- Keep file names descriptive (e.g.,
hero-banner.jpg
). Replace assets by uploading a file with the same path/name.
Publish
- Open the Publish dialog from your site. Available options: Netlify, SFTP, or Download as ZIP.
- Netlify: connect once, then publish updates with a click.
- SFTP: enter your server credentials and target path; publish pushes a fresh build.
- ZIP: download an export to host elsewhere.
Payment & Credits
- Subscription and one‑time credit packs live under “Payment → Subscription”. Use the portal link for invoices and plan changes.
- Track your consumption under “Payment → Usage” (credit state, usage chart, recent activity).
- “Paid” badges indicate features that require an active plan or credits.
Settings & Team
- Settings: update site title, metadata, and other configuration.
- Team: invite and manage collaborators with appropriate access.
Troubleshooting
- Changes not visible? Use “Preview” to open in a new tab, or refresh the page.
- Out of credits? Visit “Payment → Subscription” to upgrade or buy credit packs.
- Permissions missing? Contact your admin if you are part of a white‑label organization.
